I believe the ordinary can be marvellous and take inspiration from my wonderfully simple childhood on the farm. Now as a stay-at-home mother to two children and one melodramatic cat, my days are often filled with scenes that beg to be portrayed on paper.

Although I appreciate digital art, my heart lies with the paints, brushes, and stubby pencil crayons that litter my desk after a good day of traditional artwork.
